Preparing a Device
Why prepare a device?
OPL expects a specific folder structure on the storage device
(DVD, CD, PS1, APPS, ART, CFG, VMC). Preparing a device creates
this structure automatically so imported games and artwork land in the
right place.
Steps
- Connect the storage device.
- Open the Devices hub and select the device.
- Choose Prepare device.
- OPL Forge creates the required folders and reports the result.
After preparing
Once prepared, the device is ready for library imports and will show up with live space/health metrics on the Home screen.
